Blackpool has a lot to say for itself and well it might. It's among the most popular of the attractions to be found in the north-west of England and thousands flock there. A lot of people. A lot of eyes. A lot of opportunities for advertisers.
Links Signs and Graphics' work is seen all over town and further afield both indoors and out. Among the industry's first companies to being experimenting with applying digitally printed graphics at a large scale to walls, Links Signs never knows what's coming through the door next.
Recently, long standing Links Signs and Graphics client, Blackpool Pleasure Beach paid a visit and commissioned the team to help produce a taxi advertising campaign. Not content with the formats available, the client asked for a fitted panel set, printed and applied.
Links Signs' team set about creating a template that the client could use to contain and man the intended designs and that would make the translation from flat-earth to the curved vehicle profiles elegantly. The client came back with designs and Links' team set about production.
Links is very well equipped with well maintained printers and a Zund cutter. Hitting its own required quality standards, and the client's, wasn't a problem. Laminated Metamark MD5 kept up its end of the bargain too and the prints are flawless.
Thanks to the template geometry, they fit like a glove too. Links' team put the job to bed and completed the fleet in 3 days in batches of four. They're now attracting eyes all over Blackpool.
The fleet's profile is soon to be raised even further when a selection of the taxis will be photographed with an entourage of Blackpool's famous Show Girls. Another day at the office for Link Signs.
