G4 Design & Print is based in Hull and does a lot of work for construction companies in the region and beyond. Recently, the company undertook the provision of manifestation and other decorative elements in an office refit for Thompson Construction.

Since undertaking the refit, Darren Jimmeson and the team at G4 have produced more work for Thompson Construction and among the most recent of the jobs to turn up was a van requiring a partial wrap.

Several designs were proposed to Thompson by G4 with a variant featuring a wrapped rear end and a van-covering version of the client's logo to the vehicle's flank winning approval for production.

G4 turned to MetaWrap MD-X to do the job and took the trouble to film the application of the rear elements being applied. In G4's hands the MD-X flows into all the rear's complex detailing and the result is a genuinely striking example of vehicle livery at its best.

Such grounded design and technically accomplished application make the point that high impact liveries are more often than not the result of restrained design and powerful contrasts. This one will be turning heads for years to come.
